Sunday night into Monday morning the big talk of the internet was the digital heist of Sony Music. More than 50,000 files were illegally downloaded from the companies database. Within those files was the back catalogue of Michael Jackson.

Now after all that talk and buzz, two men in their mid-twenties were arrested, James McCormick and James Marks. According to Gigwise, the two will be charged in the hack under the Computer Misuse Act and the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act.

Sony issued this statement following apprehension, “We confirmed the breach last May and immediately took steps to secure the site and notify authorities. As a result, the two suspects were arrested. There was no consumer data involved in the incident.”

Reports are saying both men are pleading not guilty. If Michael was here I know he would be re-wording his classic cut, “You know you’re bad and caught, you know it.”
