A toxicology report released today by the L.A. Coroner’s office has finally unveiled the cause of Whitney Houston’s death.
According to the report, Houston died of an accidental drowning and she also had cocaine in her system at the time of her death. The report goes on to say that “cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to her death. Marijuana, Alprazolam(Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine(Flexeril), and Diphenhydramine(Benadryl) were identified, but did not contribute to the death.”

Houston was found unresponsive in the bathtub of the Beverly Hilton on February 11 just moments before she was to attend Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party. She was 48 years old.
