Earlier today, during Philly’s Power 99 FM The Morning Show, Questlove made a statement on the release of The Roots upcoming album.
Questo said The Roots, still signed to Def Jam, are taking time off to work on other projects, but will grind hard during September to release their 16th album anticipated to drop in March 2013.

The Roots previous two albums How I Got Over and Under were extremely successul and the hype matched the outcome of both their albums.
