Kendrick Lamar and AB Soul spoke with DJ Green Lantern on Invasion Radio about the forward movement of West Coast Music. Green Lantern expresses his support of Kendrick’s life of non-smoking and “all that type of sh*t,” as well as the Black Hippy movement. Kendrick defines a Black Hippie as someone who is “doing what they want to do in life.”
Bloggers have gone to their keyboards and phones discussing the lyrical comparisons between T.D.E and Slaughterhouse. Kendrick and AB respect the comparison and give props to Slaughterhouse saying they’re “the illest lyricists in the business, hands down.”
