Legendary music venue S.O.B.’s celebrates its 30th anniversary this month, and there’s been a host of Hip-Hop shows, including a lot of newer artists, to help keep the momentum going. Last night, Atlantic’s new femcee Brianna did her thing on stage and earlier this week, Chicago’s Chief Keef sold out the event. Last week, L.A.-based rap collective TDE continued to build their buzz with Ab Soul’s first S.O.B.’s performance.

The once Brazilian dance club has housed some of the most iconic performances in Hip-Hop history. Owner Larry Gold has made S.O.B.’s one of the most popular music venues in New York with acts like KRS-One, A Tribe Called Quest, Jungle Brothers, Drake, Kanye West and Erykah Badu, among others.  Over the span of 30 years, S.O.B.’s gives the opportunity of up and coming acts to perform and get a start at stardom. The music venue also supports local talent in New York City.
