‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ is one of the must-see action packed movie events of the summer. The Source Magazine was on the red carpet for the NY Premiere, where we spoke with the film’s star Ben Walker. His transformation into Abraham Lincoln is impressive.
Q: What was it like working with Director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and Producer Tim Burton?
Ben Walker: They’re two of the greatest visionaries that we know in film today, and I got to work with them. Pretty much a dream job.
Q: What most surprised you about Abraham Lincoln in your research for the role?
Ben Walker: The thing that was most surprising was that he was an ordinary guy, that he was born in a log cabin, he was largely self-educated and that in spite of these poor and miserable beginnings, he was an ordinary man who did extraordinary things.
Q: Would you rather be a vampire?
Ben Walker: I can cut their heads off! Hell no.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is now playing!
