Welcome to the future and welcome to Brooklyn Deron Williams! As of midnight all NBA trades and contracts were allowed to officially go through. Williams was one of the first to sign his new five-year $98.7 million contract. He chose to do it on a iPad and tweeted out a pic. According to Darren Rovell, the app he used is called “Sign Now”. The 28-year-old Williams, an All-Star the last three years, averaged team- bests in points (21) and assists (8.8) in 55 contests with the Nets last season.
