If you haven’t been following the “stolen laptop” case Ryan Leslie has caught himself in; let me sum it up for you.
In 2010, Ryan Leslie lost his laptop in Germany and offered $1 Million reward for its recovery. The man who recovered and returned the laptop, Armin Augstein, was denied his reward because the laptop was missing vital music content. Augstein stated he found the laptop in a forest and took Ryan Leslie to court for not paying the $1 Million promised.
The court’s decision ruled in favor of Augstein ordering Ryan Leslie to pay the initial reward plus an additional $180,000 in interest.
Ryan Leslie has refused to make any payments as of now. He and his attorney David DeStefano plan to appeal the entire decision.
