Kendrick Lamar is the newest feature on Life + Times’ web series Decoded. In the beginning, Kendrick raps his favorite verse of the album for us. “Sing About Me, I’m Dying Of Thirst” is a true story about a tragic situation in his life in which Kendrick witnessed his friend get shot right in front of him. As a request before he passed away, he asked K-Dot to tell of the story on his first album in a positive light. Kendrick goes on to explain that is the reasoning behind why the song is featured at the end of his album. Check out the video below.
