The anticipation was already high (literally) when a crowded line began spilling into S.O.B’s to see the young spitta, Curren$y. The crowd filled up the famous Hip-Hop venue and it didn’t take long to make it a packed house. Jack Thriller hosted the event and began the show giving some audience members a chance to take their turn at the mic for a rehearsed freestyle. Gramz opened the show getting the crowd hyped up and ready for a few more openers, but not before he brought out Flatbush Zombies. G-Two followed up with a short set and quickly after Chase’N Cashe performed bringing out Smoke DZA. As the show continued there were a few familiar faces in the crowd.

The audience cheered as loud as they could through the clouds of smoke as Curren$y took to the stage. He definitely wasted no time getting his fans into the right state of a jet life. He brought out Stalley and brought the vibe of the show to a whole new level. He wasn’t naming names, but as the he pulled Styles P, Smoke DZA, and Action Bronson on stage, the packed room was swaying to the beat and could hardly contain the excitement. Lupe Fiasco even made an appearance, but didn’t grace the concert goers with a verse. Curren$y definitely brought the southern love to New York and the big apple came out to show him some love. Hip-Hop definitely put on a show tonight and Curren$y rocked the stage at S.O.B.’s.
