The long arm of the law that belongs to David Stern strikes again. Carmelo Anthony has been suspended one game for his “confrontation” with Kevin Garnett. The two received technicals fouls during Monday night’s for jawing at each other, and after the game Anthony had waited for Garnett by the Celtic’s team bus.

Anthony had apparently only wanted to talk to Garnett because Garnett had said things “that you just don’t say to another man.” Nothing happened so should there be a suspension? Well the NBA’s Stu Jackson believes so saying “there are no circumstances in which it is acceptable for a player to confront an opponent after the game.”

If you have been on social media in the following days the alleged words that Garnett uttered had to do with Anthony’s wife LaLa and the ceral Honey Nut Cheerios. Anthony will serve his suspension Thursday night when the Knicks take on the Indiana Pacers.
