Brotha Lynch Hung member of Tech N9ne’s Strange Music recently chopped it up with TheSource.com and has provided his Top 5 Horror Movie Villains for this week’s #MyTop5. Brotha Lynch Hung released his seventh studio album “Mannibalector” last week and landed in the Top 100 of the US Billboard 200 chart. His LP features contributions from Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, and Hopsin.  Being a huge horror movie aficionado, I can definitely get down with some of his picks.  Take a look below and check out what Brotha Lynch Hung considers to be the baddest of the bad in the horror genre.

1. “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” – Leatherface: Leatherface earned himself into Brotha Lynch Hung’s Top 5 and with a body count of 31 in his franchise there’s no reason not to include him. Not to mention the original “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” made in 1974, has been deemed one of the most controversial slasher films in history.  He names this as a close second among his favorite horror films.

2. “Halloween” – Michael Myers: Originally credited as “The Shape,” Michael Myers has carved himself into film history as a figure that is pure evil. The man who donned a tricked out William Shatner mask, tallied up a body count of 100+ throughout the series.

3. “Friday the 13th” – Jason Voorhees: Brotha Lynch Hung keeps the list strong including another horror legend to the list.  Jason, along with the previously mentioned characters in the list, belong in that group of icons that have become staples in popular culture.  Jason’s body count tops the list with a number soaring over 300+.

4. “Hostel” – Elite Hunting Club: Brotha Lynch Hung selects “Hostel” as a personal favorite in the horror genre as it seems that it could actually happen .  The ominous group that is responsible for abducting unexpecting tourists and allowing people from all over to bid on a chance to murder them.  “Hostel” has been deemed extremely controversial and faced a lot of backlash for the gore and content. There’s nothing scarier than a group who has their hands in almost every social institution.

5. “House of 1,000 Corpses” – Firefly Family:  Rounding out his Top 5, Brotha Lynch Hung chooses the mentally unstable Firefly Family. Rob Zombie, a huge fan of horror and establish filmmaker, has been known for creating raw and controversial projects that show the worst of humanity. The deranged family are no holds barred, crude, violent, and insane, making them the worst people to run into in a small town scene.
