Finally, the first single from Watching Movies With The Sound Off is here.

Its been about half a year since Mac Miller announced to us the follow up to his chart-topping debut album, Blue Slide Park, was in the works and on its way. Today, we have tangible proof as the Flying Lotus-produced “SDS (Somebody Do Something)” has unofficially arrived, as it hits iTunes at midnight tonight. Miller casually begs his contemporaries to refute the knowledge that has been spoon-fed to them on the spaced out instrumental, which has a bounce as catchy as its chorus. With lines like “I wonder if Christ made a million off selling the cross”, its definitely a margin-pusher compared to Miller’s previous material, but definitely a solid introduction to his sophomore effort. Stream the track after the jump, and cop it on iTunes tonight. Watching Movies With The Sound Off (Rostrum) has been said to have a summer 2013 release date, though no specific day has been set.
