VampLife Rapper Jim Jones has claimed that he’s been victimized for racial profiling at Newark International Airport in the state of New Jersey last week.
According to TMZ, Jones was pulled over and ordered to get out of his car all because he was black.
The Harlem rapper headed to the airport to pick up a friend, which then led officials to approached Jones, claiming that a certain scent was coming from his car.
Police claimed that the scent was Marijuana, preferably Kush, and decided to search Jim’s vehicle and himself.
As a result, authorities looked for drugs and/or guns, but were unable to find anything.
They didn’t do much but give the 36 year-old rapper a ticket for driving without a license, but Jones was definitely heated stating “He was searched for nothing more than racial profiling,”
Authorities definitely screwed up this time and it looks like Jim Jones need to stay low for a little while, being that this isn’t the first time he’s had some trouble with the law.
Recently in February, Jim was arrested for obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and two warrants that were set out for his arrest.
How far will Jim Jones take this situation? We’re unsure, but maybe what’s best for him is too cool out on the driving a bit.
