This past Friday plenty of fans packed into B.B. Kings New York to see performances from G.O.O.D. Music alum Pusha T and New York native Fabolous. The Def Jam rappers took their Life Is So Exciting Tour to the fans of New York and without a doubt had the crowd screaming for more.

The show began with Pusha T delivering the right amount of energy with a couple tracks from his latest mixtape Wrath Of Caine. He got the crowd hyped with some classic Clipse joints like “Grindin'” and “Popular Demand (Popeyes)”. He then took the room up a notch with some G.O.O.D. Music hits like “Mercy” and “New God Flow”. The crowd was not ready for Pusha’s set to be over, but he did finish out with his new banger “Numbers on the Board” and reminded everyone to get ready for his upcoming anticipated album, My Name is My Name.

Fabolous was next to take the reins and his DJ had well prepared the audience for the electric performance Fab was about to give. As Jay Electronica’s “Exhibit A” filled the venue, Fabolous made his way to the stage in all his Brooklyn glory dressed in a Jackie Robinson Brooklyn Dodgers jersey. He started his set with his S.O.U.L. Tape 2 mixtape with the track “Transformation” and continued with “B.I.T.E.”, “Diamonds”, and a few others. He then brought out Troy Ave. on the track “Only Life I Know” and brought the New York crowd up to another level.

The audience had of course been waiting to hear some classics from the Brooklyn native MC and he delivered exactly what they wanted in the best way. He took us back to 2001 with his hits ” Young’n (Holla Back)” and of course “Can’t Deny It”. Fab also wasn’t about to get off stage without performing some tracks for the ladies. He had all the girls singing along with “Superwoman pt. 2”, “You Be Killin Em”, “Into You”, and “Make Me Better”. He also played some of his best collab track with The Dream and even explained the real meaning behind “Throw It in the Bag” when he said, “This song isn’t about cheating on your woman, it’s about taking care of your woman because if you don’t, another n***a will.”

Fab ended the show with his latest single “Ready” from his album Loso’s Way 2 set to release this summer. The crowd was not ready for the New York vibes to stop, but were satisfied with the show and ready for the next show on the 29th.
