“The show was inspired by our recent travels to South East Asia. Where we spent 2 weeks in a pottery village painting pots in Northern Vietnam. We were working in the ancient factories that have been making these traditional style vases for years, They were so curious to see what   graphics we were painting on the vases, anything from opium references to leafy dragons and skulls on vacation, mostly events and people that we ran into on our travels. The show is called Pipe Dreams as a opium reference  and also a nod to the real dream of trying to do art and live as an artist in NY.”

The show is this Thursday at the Krause Gallery on 149 Orchard St  7-9pm
