Theres been a small misunderstanding of the Rock The Bells 1213 line-up…
We previously reported that the annual Rock The Bells Festival lineup would host hologram performances of the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Eazy-E but today, RTB founder, Chang Weisberg, stated that contrary to popular headlines & announcements, there will not be a hologram performance.
“It’s an original virtual performance, not a hologram. I never used the word hologram. There are a number of multimedia visual effects that will be applied that will definitely at the very least make the performances look like a hologram. People’s minds will be blown.”
The rest of the lineup fills out with Big K.R.I.T., Black Hippy, Bodega Bamz, Common, Curren$y, Danny Brown, Dom Kennedy, Too $hort & E-40, Earl Sweatshirt, Kid Cudi, Talib Kweli, Tyler, The Creator, Rakim and many more.
The dates stack up as;
San Bernardino, CA – September 7-8
Mountain View, CA – September 14-15
Washington, D.C. – September 28-29
Rutherford, NJ – October 4-5
