Songwriter Jacob Luttrell has had quite a year! On Monday, he was honored at the 2013 SESAC Pop Music Awards for penning some of the biggest songs of the year including “Wild Ones” and “I Can Only Imagine.”
He wants us to look out for songs that he wrote for David Guetta, Flo Rida, Jason DeRulo and Conor Maynard.
Luttrell loves working with Flo Rida, whose new album is coming soon. “He’s a blast to work with, he’s really open to a lot of new things that he hasn’t tried before and he’s really fun to experiment with.” Luttrell said one songs he is most excited for is the duet he wrote for Carly Rae Jepsen and Flo Rida, where Flo is singing.

On working with Jason DeRulo, Luttrell said, “He probably is one of my favorites because we’re friends, we’re buddies, so working in the studio is not really work.”
He is also working on his own solo project, which will be accompanied by a documentary.
