Producers turned down Miguel’s idea to jump over the crowd

Following the disastrous leg drop during Miguel’s Billboard Music Awards performance, reports have surfaced that Khyati Shah, the lady Miguel landed on, may have sustained a brain injury. The R&B crooner may be facing legal recourse.

To make matters worse, TMZ has stated that Miguel reportedly ignored orders that prohibited him from performing that move during his set but chose to regardless. After Miguel approached producers about jumping over the crowd they shut down the idea quickly due to concern about safety.

Miguel and his camp have yet to respond.
