Prince is back
and he’s brought Ledisi with him. His new single is called “Ain’t Gonna Miss U When U’re Gone”, and it’s a jazzy-pop kiss-off from his upcoming Plectrum Electrum. Ledisi, a brilliant R&B talent, has been underrated for too long, so it’s great that Prince reached out to her to add some magic to the chorus in which they both shine on. It has a vibe that recalls his Sign O’ of the Times album as well.
Prince has been showing the neo-soul ladies of today a lot of love, as Janelle Monae confirmed he’ll definitely be on her next LP.
