Dave Chappelle Is Back!
Dave Chappelle will be back on the comedy circuit this Fall…Finally! Starting August 23, in Austin, TX Chappelle will join Flight of the Concords, Hannibal Buress, Demitri Martin and many others on a 13 city tour, over the course of about a month. The tour’s called Comedy Oddball & Curiosity and is brought to us by the folks at Funny or Die, one of today’s most popular comedy movements on the web and tv.
Chappelle has seemed dormant to many of his fans since his legendary series, The Chappelle show ended nearly 7 years ago. He had reportedly been performing small sets in various cities over the past few years. After he performed one of these shows with Chris Rock, rumors began circulating about a potential tour, featuring the comedy juggernauts as a pair but that never materialized.
This Fall the fans will get there chance– maybe their only chance–to see Mr. Chappelle again. Hopefully they still recognize him, following his body building makeover.
