M.I.A.’s third album was originally set for a 2012 release, following the rambunctious-ly feminist “Bad Girls”, that was also one of the best singles and videos of the year. Due to record label pressure to create something less “positive”, Maya went back to the drawing board and has returned with “Bring the Noize”, which remains classic M.I.A.: loud, stimulating, and audibly colorful.
