The summer of Dwight is upon us again, and once again Dwight Howard will go swimming in the free agent pool. Sources close to the Dwight Howard situation are reporting that Dwight would give up the $30 million the Lakers can pay him in order to be in a system he can thrive in.
Teams are allowed to talk to players starting on July 1st. The teams that will be courting Dwight Howard in LA are the Mavericks, Hawks, and Rockets. The notoriously indecisive Howard is looking to make a swift choice. Howard is expected to choose his team by July 10th.
Kobe Bryant has said he wants the last word with Howard before choosing his team. For the sake of Lakers fans you better hope Kobe Bryant is quite the negotiator.
