M.I.A.’s new song is released on british airwaves.
London’s NTS Radio station debuted what appeared to be a new M.I.A. track. They released a stream of guest DJ Ital‘s set on Open Deck, an NTS segment. At about the 2 minute mark you can hear M.I.A.’s new song, a quick paced tune with a catchy loop. There is yet any word suggesting the song will land on her upcoming album Matangi. M.I.A. made an appearance in Paris earlier this year for the Kenzo fashion show where she DJ’ed, in her set she played a small portion of the album to the crowd via a short Matangi mix. The British born, crossover artist is signed via Roc Nation, XL, and Interscope and with her album due out later this year, the abetment of such labels should provide for an intriguing roster of producers and guest artists.
