Ole Miss star shooting guard shut down

If you watched the past season of college basketball than you know who Marshall Henderson is, if not than I’ll get you up to speed. Marshall Henderson is currently one of the most polarizing figures in college sports. He has the ability to win a game, but with that great power comes the possibility of him losing a game for your team as well. Henderson led the Ole Miss Rebels to a NCAA tournament birth while leading the SEC in scoring.

This is the polarizing part of the story for Henderson. His collegiate career spans four universities; Utah, Texas Tech, South Plains College (junior college), and Ole Miss. In high school Henderson was arrested for buying weed with counterfeit money and Utah he punched a BYU player in the face following a game. The worst of it all came in 2012 when Henderson tested positive for alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine.

Now Henderson behavior may have costed him his final year of eligibility. Ole Miss announced today that the guard has been suspended indefinitely for reasons that are still currently disclosed.
