2013 so far has run at a record setting pace, and as it peers over its shoulder, similar years like 2011 & 2006 are very, very far in the distance. We’ve already taken a look at the year’s best moments mixtape, album, song and guest-feature wise, but let’s show some love to the producers. Artists in and of themselves, there’s something to be said about a beatsmith who doesn’t just loop a boring bass line and corny sample and call it instrumentation. In alphabetical order, we list our 15 favorite moments on the boards so far in 2013, and we’re sure at year’s end, we’re going to have 15 more.
