Sandypic1For those still suffering from the wrath of Super Storm Sandy it looks like real relief is on the way.  It’s been about 9 months since the storm rocked the east coast and there are many still homeless, out of work, or unable to open their place of business.  Aid has been slow but there are many on the front lines fighting for justice and transparency.  It is our task to keep you informed about any significant updates related to the Rebuilding Process.

By working with a host of elected officials, “The Shark” Daymond John, and the “Sandy Rebuilding Aid Project (S-RAP) we have been able to follow the money and provide assistance toward helping Sandy victims in need.

$1.77 Billion On The Line!

The proposed Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Action Plan Amendment 1 reallocates funding within the existing provision for Housing Programs, clarifies the definition of buildings in the Housing Programs multi-family category, and identifies programs to be funded with the $294 million allocated to resiliency investment activities that were not defined in the initial Action Plan.
