Back in May, Kelly Rowland created a lot of buzz after releasing her second single “Dirty Laundry” off of her Talk a Good Game album.
For the first time in her music career, Kelly allowed herself to become vulnerable. On the intensely emotional track, she gives the world a glimpse into her past hardships, of trying to break out of Beyoncé’s ‘shadow’ as a solo artist in conjunction to spending years in an abusive relationship.
All commended Kelly for her courageousness in the shocking revelation, as it was enough to bring chills through the bodies of listeners.
In the video, Kelly portrays her former feeling of loneliness through falling tears. While there are also brief scenes with a guy who plays the role of her ex- abuser.
