Black Milk, who has a legitimate claim on the most underrated emcee title, has formed a group with Artist/Illustrator Upendo Taylor called: Computer Ugly. While the Roots front man is normally seen behind a mic, he has recently shown that he is proficient–if not great–at producing. Today he and Taylor released a new instrumental track: “The Kraft.”

Although the track runs close to five minutes, it is an interesting and gripping display of talent and forethought. It isn’t the most cohesive song, Black Milk even admits that it is a collection of “rough drafts.” If these are imperfect and unfinished thoughts, then we are excited, anxiously anticipating when the duo will drop some more music.
