Earl Simmons, better known as DMX, has recently filled for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. DMX stated that he filed bankruptcy “to enable [him] to reorganize [his] financial affairs.”
The bankruptcy filing comes days after DMX was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. Although, DMX’s principal asset is 50% stake of property in upstate New York, Manhattan bankruptcy court shows that on Monday of this week DMX claimed only having $50,000 in assets with $1 Million to $10 Million in debt.

In addition to being up to $10 Million in debt, DMX owes $1.24 million in child support and over $21,000 on an auto lease.
From his “Iyana Save My Life” stint to this, DMX can’t seem to win.
