The smartphone war continues between Apple and Samsung. Just when sources leaked about the new gold color way of the next generation iPhone, Samsung announces their new gold colored Android device.

Today, Apple’s South Korean rival revealed The Galaxy Golden so Android fanboys don’t have to feel left out from owning eye-catching digital gadgets.

The Golden sports two 3.7-inch AMOLED screens with WVGA resolution. Other specs included thanks to SammyHub are a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, a 8-megapixal rear camera and a 1.9-megapixal front-facing camera. The device will support LTE, powered by a 1,820 mAh battery and will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Only problem is the “champagne gold” Android will not be available worldwide. It will be launching soon in South Korea but no details were given regarding a widespread release. Check out more pics of the Galaxy Golden below.
