With The Game leading as the No. 1 sitcom amongst Black women ages 18 to 49, BET Networks will add four new pilots to their 2013-2014 season in efforts to continue their domi- nance in African-American homes. Filming of their original film Being Mary Jane throughout 2012 affirmed the city of Atlanta as the “Hollywood of the South.” With their fourth round of hosts coming last year, BET announced its new cast on 106 & Park, which marks the first time the show has housed four hosts. With Bow Wow, Miss Mykie, Paigion, and Shorty Da Prince at the helm, 106 & Park’s rumored demise is out of the question. The network’s inception of shows such as Second Generation Wayans, House Husbands, and Don’t Sleep with T.J. Holmes displayed dexterity in one of the best upfront campaigns in 2012. —Virgilio Mendez
