The AND 1 Summer Remix Tournament continued yesterday at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA. In the second day of basketball competition, four games were played, with the winning team of each game going on to the semi finals of the Tournament.
The day began with the Summer Pro League taking on the Bingo’s All Stars, which resulted in the Summer Pro team going on to the semi finals by beating the Bingo All Stars 97-87. In the second game of the of the afternoon, Mike Bivens team, Biv 10 was defeated and knocked out of AND 1 competition by team Born Ready, a squad that is coached by NBA player Lance Stephenson, who is an official AND 1 Athlete. The third game of the day was probably the most excited one of them all. The AND 1 Live team beat the squad of Philly’s Finest with a game bucket shot that saw 0.5 seconds on the clock. In the final game of the night, Jermaine Dupri’s Global 14 took on Bun B’s Streetball team. In an intense game, Jermaine Dupri’s Global 14 ended snatching the final spot to advance to the semi-finals.
The AND! Summer Remix Tournament continues today at 3PM at The Liacouras Center. Things should be much more heated today with the winners advancing to the championship game played on Sunday. If your in the area of Philly make sure you come out and check the AND 1 basketball tournament.
