Just a mere two weeks after her twerk-fiasco at MTV’s VMAs, Miley Cyrus releases a provocative video for her latest single, “Wrecking Ball.”
The video, directed by Terry Richardson begins with visuals of a sensual Miley with tears rolling down her face. Viewers also get scenes of Miley licking a sledgehammer, swinging nude atop a wrecking ball and posing on top of a pile of debris. The songs lyrics tell a story of a wrecked relationship, possibly alluding to her rumored split with fiancee Liam Hemsworth.
“Wrecking Ball” is a new direction from the party anthems we were expecting from Bangerz, which drops October 4th.
