Jay Z x Barneys New York collaboration for the winter season
Jay Z and Barneys have come together to collaborate on a new, limited edition line.’A New York Holiday’ Campaign seems to include the whose who of fashion, including lines such as Balmain, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Proenza Schouler and Moncler. Jay Z also plans for 25% of the proceeds of this line to benefit the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
The mission statement of the Shawn Carter Scholarship is to help individuals facing socio-economic hardships further their education at institutions of higher learning. Launched in 2002, Jay Z’s foundation have given over to date 1.3 million dollars to individuals in need of scholarships.
Barneys will release the collection online and in store windows on November 20.
