Rapper Lola Monroe made an appearance at the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards over the weekend. While on the green carpet, she dropped a bit of a bombshell. She announced that she was never signed to Wiz Khalifa‘s Taylor Gang Records.
Although she still has love for Wiz, she says she was never signed. Since having the baby, she put out her mixtape, Lipsticks and Pistols hosted by DJ Illwill and released the single from the mixtape, Don’t Wake Me.
Since the announcement, Wiz released a statement saying,

“We wish LoLa the best, but hope they move on in their respective directions without affiliating themselves to the Taylor Gang brand or name.”
