It’s finally here
After an in-studio performance and a lyric video, RaVaughn finally releases the official video for her single, “Best Friend.” The emotionally charged song tells the story of a female dealing with the friend-zone. She sings: “Was I ever an option on the phone talking/ 2 o’clock in the morning/ Asking me to fix what’s broken/ Open up my heart and then you stole it/ Those random times I cross your mind/ Do I give you butterflies?/ Cuz baby I get chills every time I chill witcha” and of course that goes into the powerful declaration, “I’m not your f-cking best friend.”
In the visual, you’ll see the RaVaughn covered in rose petals as she sings while in water. In another scene, you’ll see the actual story play out with Justin Walker (Baldwin Hills).
