They say the best things in life are free, and after giving his most loyal fans first dibs on his new release for the price of $100 US dollars, West Coast rhyme maven Nipsey Hussle has released his long awaited Crenshaw mixtape for mass consumption.
Crenshaw, hosted by DJ Drama, is Nipsey’s first full release since February of 2012 when he dropped The Marathon Continues: X-Tra Laps, a collection of records that didn’t make the final cut of his well received The Marathon Continues mixtape. While some have been skeptical of Neighborhood Nip’s marketing approach with Crenshaw, early reports from fans and hip-hop hubs in L.A. show a positive reception to the project’s branding despite what may be considered a steep price tag. Find out what all the buzz is about and download Nipsey’s new tape here.
