Young Gattas isn’t just the OG female in battle rap, she continues to prove she’s the best on the scene. Gattas could sit back on her laurels and adopt legend status, taking only the occasional match, if any at all, but instead she continues to face off against whoever folks are calling “the new best female in battle rap.” From Bonnie Godiva to Chayna Ashley, Gattas has yet to back down from a threat. She continues to shut down her haters as well, expanding her repertoire whenever her versatility is called into question. However, there’s one competitor she has yet to battle. Young Gattas may very well be the Hollow Da Don of the female battle world, not because of her style but because of her record and versatility. She’s an undeniable force.
Jaz the Rapper may be Tsu Surf according to that means of comparison. She’s the best, most appropriate competitor to stack up against Gattas. Jaz has probably shut down as many if not more haters during her veritably uninterrupted winning streak stemming from the begging of her battle career. Whether it’s her cuteness or her virginity that’s being called into question, there’s never a shortage of doubt towards Jaz when she’s slated to battle. She may be the most underestimated, most surprising female battler around. You walk into one her battles a hater and you leave a fan. She’s the best punchline craftswoman in the female battle world, and like Gattas she’s shut down all competition.
It’s a battle that had to happen, and finally the announcement came via BattleFix that the clash is set to happen on URL in the coming months (no set date yet.)
