Bizzy Crook was chilling with ambition as he waited for the opening acts to finish up. The latest talent to come straight out of Miami was hype for his first performance as a headlining act of Nemas Boom Boom Room created by Nema Kemar at The Cutting Room in New York City. The venue has hosted an abundance of big-time Rock N’ Roll acts such as The Beatles and The Zombies. But Bizzy was set to take the legendary stage as the first rapper to fill the room with the sounds of hip-hop and R&B.

“I feel amazing” said Bizzy. “We’ve been rehearsing with the live band for the past couple days. It’s my first time performing with a live band and it’s different. It’s like an orchestra.”

The title of his recent release was inspired by the beginning stages of the game, but Bizzy’s music is unique representation of the next generation in Hip Hop. The Cuban/Dominican rapper took the stage to perform some of his hits off his latest release, 84. With top notch artists like Nelly and Estelle making appearances on the project, the young rapper is still in awe at how far he’s come.

“It’s still surreal”, said Bizzy. “It’s not the first time me and Nelly worked together but he was the first dude to cosign me.”

With the support of the live band, Bizzy busted out hits like “The One” and “Victim Of Love” for a packed house Tuesday night. Once the band started to play “Amnesia”, it was evident that the song owned a majority of the audience. The closing tune was met with roars of praise from the pleased crowd. Though the rapper is far from home, he’s no stranger to the Big Apple.

“New York is known for their tough crowds, but I get more love out here than back home,” said Bizzy. “Every show we have the fans are more supportive and I gain new fans every time.”

Bizzy’s ambition doesn’t turn down for anything. He’s currently still making hits in the studio preparing his next tape. Although there’s no confirmation for his debut album, all the work he is putting in could potentially produce results in 2014.
