Eminem and Slaughterhouse stopped by “The Backroom” on 106 & Park to talk about his new album The Marshall MAthers LP 2. Unlike artists before them, Em brought back the classic “Rap City” segment with none other than the former host himself Big Tigger. With Just Blaze on the one’s and two’s, Tig introduced the series of freestyles from Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9.
The best was saved for last when the Shady Records CEO stepped up to the mic demanding for silence as the Detroit MC spit his verse a cappella. The Backroom will never be what The Basement was.
