2 Generations Of Cash Money Connect In Big D
Drake is nothing if not a historian. He’s shown a penchant for truly embracing and appreciating his Cash Money lineage in the past, through clothing, song covers, and most notably his retro-inspired video for No New Friends. Drizzy kept that spirit alive when he touched down in Dallas for the latest stop on his Would You Like A Tour? campaign. Drake brought out famed Cash Money alumnus Juvenile for a rambunctious rendition of the southern star’s biggest hit “Back Dat Azz Up”.
Drake fans will remember that the Canadian rapper flipped Juvie’s smash for the record “Practice” on his Take Care album, turning the rump-shaking anthem into a smooth R&B cut for that LP’s purposes.
Juvie isn’t the only Hot Boy that’s joined Young Angel on tour. While in Miami, Drake brought out his mentor Lil Wayne for a rendition of their duet “HYFR”. Check out Juvie’s cameo.
