Nas To Executive Produce & Make New Music For Upcoming Documentary, Shake The Dust

Iconic Queensbridge rapper Nasir Jones will be tapping into the documentary world. The Godson has signed up to be an executive producer for a flick entitled, Shake The Dust, which is based on the art form of break dancing. The project is directed by Adam Sjoberg and focuses on the culture of B-Boys in locations like Colombia, Yemen, Cambodia and Uganda. has is also set to provide music for the documentary.

Nas had this to say about the upcoming flick:

”What these kids are doing around the world reminds me why I fell in love with hip-hop and how important it is as a creative and constructive outlet. After hearing Adam’s vision for this project and hearing the stories, I was incredibly excited to help bring the film to global audiences who need to hear this surprising message of empowerment.”

No word yet on when this documentary will be released, but in the meantime check out the trailer of the upcoming project.
