Throughout it, the couple rides a motorcycle face-to-face in up and down motions; horses run free in the wild, flowers bloom and blossom, and waterfalls crash (all cliché film tropes and innuendos for sexual climax): Ye’s video for “Bound 2” is a “sex tape” in the most subtle, artistic way possible. To top off the checkmate, Kanye played it on the most watched daytime television show in America. The fake motorcycle? The greenscreen background? The video’s cheesy and campy nature suggests that Kanye is fully aware that it’s over-the-top, and that he’s doing it on purpose. But Yeezy couldn’t do it without Kim.
