2 Chainz speaks on Kobe Bryant’s rank as 25th best player in NBA and names top five rappers
During his visit to ESPN’s SportsNation, rapper 2 Chainz sat down for a brief game of “T.R.U. or Not T.R.U.” When asked if he felt that Kobe Bryant’s rank as the 25th best player in the NBA was disrespectful or not, he replied with a T.R.U.
“That’s the most disrespectful thing I already heard in my whole entire life. Uh, that’s true, man.”
In regards to Kanye West leaving Nike for Adidas and Drake’s new shoe partnership with Jordan, 2 Chainz then went on to express why he feels that rappers can sell just as many shoes as athletes can.
“Let me tell you something, man. Rappers all year-round, we not seasonal,” he stated. “At the end of the day, I feel like we can sell as many shoes as the next person can.”
Before his departure, 2 Chainz rattled off a list of his top five MCs of all-time.
