Webbie is always on full blast and he’s unabashed. The Source recently followed the Louisiana rapper for just a day as he made his Screen Shot 2013-12-11 at 11.32.31 AM
rounds in New York City. We saw him doing everything from teasing office ladies to inspiring the young ones. If there’s one thing you probably knew about Webbie, he’s a funny guy. If there’s one thing you should know about Webbie, he’s big on kids staying in school. “Don’t try to be Boosie, don’t try to be Lil Wayne, be you and be all you can be,” he says. “Grow up and be somebody.” Webbie’s a bona fide character, but he’s also coming from a very real place – that’s evident.

His fourth studio album, Savage Life 4, debuted November 19. SL4 features a slew of  appearances from Trill Entertainment artists like Lil Trill, Lloyd, Blake, and the late Lil Phat. “Bad Bitch 2” and “Realest” (feat. Lloyd) are two singles that helped boost interest in the full album as this year’s November drop date got closer. Webbie gave us seventeen tracks full of his wild energy and storytelling, making it another solid meditation on Webbie’s Savage Life.
