12/12/13 saw the release of Busta Rhymes & Q-Tips highly anticipated mixtape The Abstract & The Dragon. This ethereal pairing of two longtime friends and first ballot Hip Hop Hall of Famers is a project over 25 years in the making. Even though no one really saw it coming, it was one of those things that when you did hear about it you couldn’t help but feel like it made complete sense. So it got us at The Source to thinking, what are some pairings of certified Rap OG’s that could actually happen, and would appeal to the fans.
