The wait for the Baton Rouge rappers fans to see Lil Boosie released from jail continues until February 2014.
Boosie’s release date has been consistently changing and also been hot topic in the previous months. When rumors surfaced that he would be released in November 2013 many fans began expecting the rapper home and back to work however when the time came, there was no sign of Boosie. It appears that rumors surfaced again on a August 2014 release date, however, Boosie’s brother/manager Hatch has recently revealed that the release date has been pushed up to February 2014.
Lil Boosie’s legal troubles began in 2009 when he pled guilty to third-degree possession of marijuana on September 20 and was sentenced to 2 years in jail the very next day. His sentence was doubled when he violated probation while awaiting sentencing during house arrest.

Boosie stated he was innocent from all charges.
In 2011, Boosie was sentenced to eight years in state prison after pleading guilty to the drug charges. In May of 2012, a jury found Lil Boosie not guilty of the first degree murder.
