Veteran New York Emcee Completes Signature Mixtape Series Trilogy
When you’ve been holding it down for over 1o years in the rap game, it’s easy to get caught up in chasing trends in an attempt to stay relevant. One rapper, however, who’s always stayed ahead of the curve by being true to himself is Brooklyn torchbearer Fabolous.
Loso’s been a consistent, heavyweight spitter for more than a decade and although he’s grown and changed with the times, there’s never been any wavering in his delivery of some of the most memorable bars and dopest tracks in the game.
Just in time for Christmas, the self-proclaimed Young OG is back with the highly-anticipated third entry into his Soul Tape mixtape series. While a proper follow-up to his last album, 2009’s Loso’s Way, has yet to materialize, Spider Spizz has held the streets down with his critically acclaimed Soul Tape street LPs, characterized by their sample-heavy production and classic, black and white visuals.
The Soul Tape 3 boasts appearances by Meek Mill, Jadakiss, Jeezy, Jeremih, Ryan Leslie and Mack Wilds as well as production from AraabMuzik, Boi-1da, and Mark Henry.
