Going from a figure who is viewed by many as a gimmick of sorts, to a true participant and legit contender in the game is no small feat. With his second full length album- Because The Internet- Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino did just that. The music is diverse, interesting and well put together plus Gambino himself has never sounded more lyrically adept. When you take into consideration the mini movie and full script that accompanied and really added to the overall experience of the album you have one of the most ambitious and full projects hip hop has ever seen.
